The remaining balance is then required one month prior to the booking. If you are booking within one month of the activity, we will require the full balance at the time of booking irregardless the group size.

Cancellations due to COVID lockdowns

If a national or local lockdown restricts our ability to run a course or activity which you are booked onto, we will offer you an alternative date or a refund.

Cancellations by us

Whilst every reasonable attempt will be made to deliver courses, Stand Up Paddle reserves the right to cancel or modify the courses due to safety considerations, bad weather and other factors beyond our control. In this case we will offer you an alternative activity or the option of re-booking the intended activity for a new date.In the event of misbehaviour on previous trips /activities Stand Up Paddleboarding with Ana has fully control on cancelling your place on future trips/activities.

Cancellations by you

Your deposit is not refundable. If you cancel your booking more than one month before your visit no further money will be due. If you cancel all or part of your booking within one month of your visit then the full balance of the trip is still due and no refund will be given. As with any holiday or trip away we recommend that you take out personal holiday insurance to cover cancellation. When booking on behalf of a group, we would recommend you book for the minimum number in the party and add others to the group as they confirm. If your group numbers reduce within one month of your activities the full balance for the number of places originally booked will still be due. However, for last minute bookings we need to know your final group numbers at the time of booking.

Customers with Disabilities or Medical Conditions

If you have a disability or medical condition which affects your ability to participate in the activity, please call us to discuss your needs. Although not all activities are suitable for all disabled participants, we will do our best to help by working with our instructors to assess your individual needs relative to the activities. We must also be informed of any medical conditions (asthma, epilepsy, deafness etc) any participant has. We do not recommend that those who are pregnant take part in our watersports sessions because of the risk of falling and harming the baby, and difficulties with remounting the board. If you do decide to take part whilst pregnant your session may be adapted slightly to accommodate your needs, eg kneeling/sitting throughout. Please bear in mind these sessions are physical and can be tiring. If you are in doubt as to whether you should take part in an activity because of an existing medical condition please seek advice from your doctor.

Session Locations

Please see your booking confirmation email for details on session location. Session locations vary depending on which activities are booked, river levels and weather conditions. The waterways we regularly use are the River Medway and Leybourne Lakes.

Equipment and Clothing

For all water activities participants must bring a pair of old trainers or wetshoes and swimwear for under the wetsuit provided.

Damage or loss to Stand Up Paddle equipment caused by negligence, carelessness or malicious acts must be paid for at the time at current replacement value.

Social Paddle

When signing onto a social paddle you are paddling under our hire agreement.

Once you have had a safety brief from the instructor and one tuition session (e.g. a half day or previous social paddle with an instructor) you are then able to take a SUP on the water during the time of the social paddle, unguided in pairs. All participants must be back at the starting location by the end time of the session.
